The Ultima II Filters are designed for high flow rates, extreme loads and elevated rates. Supports aquatic life in bodies of water whether at an aquaculture facility, backyard pond or large aquarium system it is essential to remove both ammonia and accumulated debris from 500 to 60,000 gallon applications. Equipped with ‘cyclonic’ backwashing, Ultima II features Bio-Tube Aqua Media. These media are of tubular design, which aims to protect bacteria while dislodging unwanted debris. Combines both biological and mechanical filtration in one compact body. Simply by rotating the valve handle the patented cyclonic backwash system does the dirty work for you.
